Cost Estimation Service for Cybermanufacturing

Cybermanufacturing is a new paradigm that both engineering manufacturing software and hardware tools are seamlessly integrated by enabling information infrastructure and are accessed as services in cyber space. In this work, a predictive analytics framework is developed to enable manufacturing cost estimation based on geometric and non-geometric information, where cloud based costing estimation service can be provided for manufacturers, especially small-and-medium sized enterprises.

Physics-Based Data-Driven Process Monitoring

In this work, new in-situ manufacturing process monitoring schemes based on physics-based compressive sensing are developed to enable efficient machine health and manufacturing process monitoring to ensure production quality.
